The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program at Centurion University of Technology and Management (Andhra Pradesh & Odisha campuses) is designed to nurture high-quality research, innovation, and knowledge creation across diverse disciplines in engineering, management, applied sciences, agriculture, and allied fields.
The program offers a rigorous and structured research pathway, enabling scholars to engage in original investigations that address academic, industrial, and societal challenges. Under the guidance of experienced faculty supervisors, candidates develop advanced research skills, publish in reputed journals, and contribute to the growth of their discipline.
The CUTMAP Ph.D. admission process aligns with UGC Regulations (2022), ensuring transparency, academic integrity, and merit-based selection. Admission is offered in two categories:
With valid national-level eligibility (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, JEST, etc.) – direct interview-based selection.
Without national-level eligibility – written test followed by interview.

Minimum Academic Qualifications
Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline from a recognized university/institution with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
A relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) or equivalent grade is allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently Abled categories as per UGC regulations.
Candidates with Professional Degrees
Candidates holding an M.Phil., M.Tech., M.E., M.Arch., M.Pharm., M.B.B.S., or other equivalent professional degrees in relevant fields are eligible with the required minimum percentage.
Direct Admission for Exceptional Candidates (As per UGC provisions)
Candidates who have cleared UGC-NET/JRF/CSIR-NET/GATE/GPAT/SLET or equivalent national-level examinations may be exempted from the entrance test and directly considered for interview.
Foreign Nationals
Must hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline with an equivalent grade/CGPA, and meet English language proficiency requirements (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE) if applicable.
Additional Requirements
Statement of Purpose (SOP) or Research Proposal in the chosen field.
Clearance of the University’s Entrance Test and/or Interview as applicable.
