| Program Description |
the
degree of Master of Social Work (MSW) aims at training
students to plan and execute an extensive range of social
services and social welfare activities. An innovative blend of
theory, fieldwork and research is designed to provide the
students with a variety of skills to enable them to be active
social workers, to set up and manage social work organizations
of their own or to find employment with various national
and international agencies in the field.

Eligibility
1. Graduation in any stream with 50% of the aggregate.
Those who have a background in Social Work / Psychology
/ Education / Sociology / Home Science / Human Resource
Management will have an advantage.
2. Provisional Admission: Applicants who have not yet
obtained their Bachelor’s Degree also may apply for admission.
Such candidates would be offered provisional
admission until they furnish evidence of fulfilling the eligibility
criterion stated in (1) above within 3 months of
the commencement of the programme.
