Program Description	This study programme aims to provide an advanced understanding of the core concepts and topics of Biochemistry and their experimental basis. It is designed to equip the students with specialized knowledge and understanding of the underlying biochemical processes involved in core areas of current research, such as immunology, medical biochemistry, genetic engineering, physiology, bioenergetics and metabolism.
Admission & entry requirements	Eligibility 1. Graduation in any area of Life Sciences with 60% (50% for Botany) of the aggregate and Chemistry as a subject. Those who have a background in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Microbiology/ Zoology at Bachelor’s Degree will have an advantage. 2. Provisional Admission: Applicants who have not yet obtained their Bachelor’s Degree also may apply for admission. Such candidates would be offered provisional admission until they furnish evidence of fulfilling the eligibility criterion stated in (1) above within 3 months of the commencement of the programme.
