M. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with specialisation in VLSI Design is a two-year programme designed to make students excel in the developing field of VLSI Design. The programme curriculum is focused on VLSI Design & including algorithms, hardware description, languages, system architectures, physical designs, verification techniques, simulation & synthesis, low power design techniques, and mixed mode design methodologies.
Under this programme, students gain knowledge about various topics that cut across different domains, starting from the lowest level of physical devices to the top level of application development. The programme benefits students to take up opportunities in sectors of private and public firms, MNCs, software & IT, telecommunication industry, etc.
The performance of the students is assessed by a continuous series of tests/assignments and presentations in addition to End Semester Examinations to ensure the highest academic standards.
