Program Description	Master of Technology Information Security is a postgraduate Information Technology Management programme. Information Security and Assurance will prepare you with the necessary skills for the protection of networks, communication, and data, as well as the knowledge base for planning, implementing, and managing enterprise level security and system integrity. You will become an expert IT security manager. Information Security will provide you with the knowledge and theoretical background as well as with the requisite skills and attitudes to succeed in this challenging yet eminent field. The programme offers a wide range of courses, both technical modules and modules dealing with social, legal and management aspects. The programme has three specializations: technology, digital forensics and management. The program focuses primarily on the technical and problem-solving skills associated with security implementation but adds instruction on project management and effective communications to help graduates prepare to take responsibility for the work of other technologists.
Admission & entry requirements	Minimum 60% or equivalent in the qualifying exam as under: 1. B.Tech./B.E. Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Software Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University. OR 2. AMIE/AMIETE in relevant discipline. OR 3. MCA/M.Sc.(Computer Science/IT) or M.Sc. (Maths/ Statistics) with Computer/IT as a major subject.
