Interior Design at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University imparts a refreshing studio based education focusing on residential, retail, workplace, hospitality interiors as well as various contemporary interior spaces. The programme aims to educate students to handle all aspects of Interior design as a singular integrated user centric area of study; and develop their ability to integrate all such elements and systems into coherent wholes in various interior spatial contexts. Students explore various perspectives in theory and practice of interior design through conceptual investigations of space, research on materials, and training in computer-based application. In the studios, students explore the relationship between various other design conclaves like contemporary and vernacular built environments, which offer opportunities to apply your learning to real-world interiors.
The course of Bachelor of Interior design, Swarrnim Institute of Design has been strategically planned keeping in mind the holistic growth of students in the field of Interior designing. The course places importance on hands- on- skill enhancement and digital media learning. The academics include core subjects like Studio Design, Construction Material and Methods, Fine Arts, Environmental Science & Sustainability, Design Computation, and Construction.
