Civil engineering graduates in general have a wide scope with respect to their career planning. To name some, a structural consultant, project manager, entrepreneur, software professional, and armed service professional.
They find their prominent places in all the major construction projects carried out by the state or central public works departments, Indian railways, armed forces along with construction companies.
They can join the Engineering and Administrative services through competitive examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission and State Public Service Commission.
The Civil Engineering Department is also providing testing and consultancy services in the field of Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental / Waste water Engineering, Concrete Technology, Transportation Engineering, Strength of materials and Estimation and Surveying work with its well-equipped laboratories.
