| Program Description |
The Bachelor of Social Work programme is an academic discipline that promotes social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people. Principles of social justice, human rights, collective responsibility, and respect for diversity are central to social work. In light of this, the students will be taught a variety of skills, techniques, and activities consistent with a holistic focus on persons and their environments. This will involve a training in the areas of counselling, clinical social work; group work, social pedagogical work, family treatment and therapy as well as efforts to help people obtain services and resources in the community.
