| Program Description |
This NBA accredited Programe (started in 1972) has grown its expertise and competence in the core Mechanical Engineering curriculum and research. The primary focus of its curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students, promote their problem solving skills and innovation of new technologies. The course contents are periodically updated for introducing new scientific and technological developments. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded. The third and fourth semesters of the M.Tech programme are dedicated for the thesis work. Major subjects taught are:
Nonlinear vibration, Vibration of continuous system, Tribology, Nonlinear FEM in solid Mechanics, Machining Dynamics, Composite Material etc.
