M.Tech(CIT) i.e. Computer and Information Technology programme, started in the year 2016 with the aim of the programme is to provide training to students in carrying out research and to contribute to expanding the frontiers of knowledge.Our faculty members aim at delivering top class education blending their rich research experience with classroom teaching. Department has state-of-the-art infrastructure and computing equipment supported by high speed Ethernet and wireless networks. The course has stated to take education beyond the four walls so that students understand the reality of the technical world. They are exposed to various opportunities such as implant training, internships, and workshops during their course of study. The department also encourages innovative projects and quality research in various inter-disciplinary domains. The department is involved in major research on which faculty members and students work on several areas such as Computer Networks, Database, Theoretical Computer Science, Image Processing, Software Engineering, Data Mining, Big Data, Machine Learning and Internet of Things, Network Security, Data Science etc. With this degree an our graduates will engage themselves in lifelong learning to acquire and update professional skills needed to be resourceful and to meet the demands of global technology changes, by way of higher education, research and involvement in technical & societal events.
