Program Description	The Department of Information Technology is active in research and development dealing with cutting edge technologies. The department conducts research in areas like Computer Networks, Distributed Systems, Data Mining, Embedded System, RFID and Smart Cards, Information Security Systems etc. Research activities on Wireless Sensor Networks, Image Processing, Voice Over Internet Protocol, Robotics and AI are also being undertaken by the Department.
