For B.Tech.
a) Candidate applying for admission to B. Tech. program through JOSAA/CSAB 2021 must satisfy the eligibility criteria as per JOSAA/CSAB 2021 guidelines. b) Candidates applying for admission to B.Tech./B.Arch. program through SMVDU Direct Counseling (Subject to availability of vacant seats) based on JEE(Main) 2021 Rank (CRL) must satisfy the eligibility criteria as per JOSAA/CSAB 2021 guidelines. However, the minimum aggregate percentage obtained at 10+2 must be at-least 60% (or equivalent CGPA) or as per JOSAA/CSAB 2021 guidelines, whichever is less. c) Candidates applying for admission through Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Entrance Examination-2021 (SMVDUEE-2021) must satisfy the following eligibility criteria: a. Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2019 or 2020; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2021 are eligible to appear in SMVDUEE 2021, irrespective of their age. Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2018 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2022 or later are not eligible to appear in SMVDUEE – 2021. Date of birth, as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate will only be considered. b. Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing SMVDUEE – 2021 (Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject). The candidates who have taken less than five subjects in class 12th /qualifying exam are not permitted to write SMVDUEE-2021 and even if such candidates appear in SMVDUEE-2021, their provisional admission will be cancelled at any stage. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Class 12th /qualifying exam or equivalent CGPA and should be qualified in all the courses at 10+2 level.
