| Program Description |
The B.Tech. program in Aeronautical engineering deals with the design, construction, maintenance, safety and study of science behind various aircrafts and their components. For a better learning process, students are exposed to case studies and problem-based learning, brainstorming, written tests, computer simulation, group discussions, industrial training seminars, technical seminars and projects. The prescribed courses of study and syllabi cover areas like, design, structures, propulsion, aerodynamics and systems. The laboratories and workshops, detailed in the curriculum, have been framed to take up the challenges in Industry and focus themselves on research and development. The student has access to the latest versions of many analysis and design packages.

| Admission & entry requirements |
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and • Obtained score of National level Entrance Test (JEE 2018) Or • CET conducted by component authority: MHTCET 2018 Or • Obtained Score of any other State level Entrance Test of States in India. Or • Obtained Score of any other National Level Test conducted by recognized Private / Deemed University. Or • Obtained Score of National Level Entrance Test conducted by Sanjay Ghodawat University, Kolhapur (SGUEE). Or (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); Or (ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Sanjay Ghodawat University Kolhapur Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
