Program Description The mechanical engineering department offers PG programme in the area of Machine design, production engineering and Heat power engineering which are offered as PhD programme for interested students in these broad areas of specialization. The department also encourages interdisplinary research for PhD programme which are collaborated with other relevant departments. The outcome of the PhD programme can help to cater the need of the industry, educational institutes and society. For maintaining the quality of the PhD programme it is mandatory to publish two journal papers and two conference papers for award of a PhD degree.
