The department of Computer Science and Engineering offering Ph. D degree in both theoretical and applied domains of Computer Science and Engineering. The major research areas on which faculty members are guiding doctoral candidates includes Parallel Processing, Algorithm Engineering and Foundation of Computing, Data Communication and Networking, Data Mining & Soft Computing, Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, Image Processing, Computational Intelligence, Sensor Networks, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Optimization Techniques, Data Science, Fractal Study, Database and Information Security etc. The Doctoral students are educated in different skill sets with a strong programming foundation. Most of the PhD students after completion of the degree are placed in Universities and Industries.
