Program Description	The department of Mathematics offering Ph. D degree in a host of both applied and pure mathematical disciplines such as Functional Analysis, Complex Analysis, Fourier Series, Summability Theory, Optimization Techniques, Wave-let Analysis, Fluid Dynamics, Computer Aided Geometric Design and Operator Theory etc. Our faculty members provide a supportive environment for realizing students’ research goals and developing their professional skills needed to flourish both within and outside academia. The students have been enrolled into the Ph. D Program in Mathematical Science since 2012. So far our department has produced a good number of Ph. D students who are well placed in different organizations.
Admission & entry requirements	Must have passed M.Sc./M.Phil from UGC recognised University in concerned subject. Written Test+Career Marks+Interview Ph.D. admission are carried out twice in a year once in January and in July, Advertisement are put up on the website/reputed newspaper in the second half of November/December and second half of April/May.
