Program Description	Biochemistry and Molecular biology programme is designed to equip the students with a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the intricate mechanisms of ‘life’. The science of biochemistry relates to the chemical processes in living cells which mainly encompasses the understanding of metabolic and biochemical signaling pathways that outline the ever mysterious sustenance of life. Molecular biology, on the other hand, is a branch of life sciences that signifies the functionalities of macromolecular complexes that delineate the phenomenon of life. On the whole, these two areas of life science complement to the foundation of important biomedical applications such as genetic engineering, biotechnology and immunology.
