| Program Description |
In the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department strong academic programs provide a background for the directed research that form a part of the Ph.D. programs. It is the policy of the Department to encourage its members to take part in externally sponsored project works. These activities forming a mutually beneficial link between the university and industry serve not only as a stimulus for a more intensive research environment in the Department but constitute a channel of information about the present and future needs of the industry to help in the improvement of the educational programs.
Some of the major research activities are: Process Control Instrumentation, Power Systems, Energy Management. Signal Processing, Image Processing, Instrumentation/Automation, Power Systems & Control

Must have passed M.Tech from AICTE approved institute in Electrical/Instrumentation/Control/Power System/Communication /Electronics Engg
Written Test+Interview
Ph.D. admission are carried out twice in a year once in January and in July,
Advertisement are put up on the website/reputed newspaper in the second half of November/December and second half of April/May.
