Admission through the entrance test & M.A. Linguistics/ M.A. Phonetics/ M.A. Applied Linguistics/ M.A. English (which includes papers/courses in Linguistics or Phonetics) with 55% marks for general/OBC (creamy-layer) candidates, and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled candidates OR M.Phil. Linguistics/ M.Phil. Phonetics/ M.Phil. Applied Linguistics/ M.Phil.English (with specialization in Linguistics or Phonetics) OR PGDTE/PGCTE with a minimum of a ‘B+’ grade for general/OBC candidates, ‘B’ grade for SC/ST category candidates OR Pursuing any of the qualifying programmes mentioned above (provided the candidate will have passed the examination by the time of admission and has scored the minimum eligibility marks as mentioned above)
