The PG Programme teaches advance level subjects spanning over wide ranging fields of heat treatment and phase transformation, different joining techniques, metal forming, modeling and simulation, nanomaterials, composite materials, characterization, quasicrystals, biomaterials, magnetic materials, light-weight materials and nonferrous alloys and structure property correlations, creep and fatigue behaviour of materials, fracture mechanics, nanoindentation, corrosion, thermodynamics of alloys and semiconducting intermetallics and advanced casting processes, wear studies of composites, waste utilization and energy management etc. Post Graduates are highly placed and also can pursue PhD in different NITs & IITs.
