Program Description	The duration of the B.Tech degree program shall be four years comprising of eight semesters. A candidate can avail a maximum of 16 semesters - 8 years as per double duration norm, in one stretch to complete B.Tech degree, including blank semesters, if any. Whenever a candidate opts for the blank semester, he/she has to study the prevailing courses offered by the School when he/she resumes his/her studies. The medium of instruction shall be English. The course offered will have three components associated with the teaching-learning process of the course, namely: Lecture, Tutorial, Practice.
Admission & entry requirements	Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics and Technical Vocational subject obtained at least 45% marks(40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
