B.E/B Tech/BSc Engg in Aerospace Engineering / Chemical Engineering/ Civil Engineering /
Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Fire Engineering/
Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/ Safety & Fire Engineering with a
minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 in 10‐point scale from any Recognized University in
Kerala or any other University / Institution accepted by this University as equivalent
hitherto.
A valid GATE score.
In the absence of sufficient number of candidates with GATE score, candidates without
GATE score shall also be considered subject to passing a Departmental Admission Test
(DAT).
Two seats are reserved for candidates with B. Tech Degree in Safety & Fire Engineering /
B.E. Degree in Fire Engineering. The candidates are selected through Departmental
Admission Test (DAT), if such candidates are not available, these two seats shall be filled
as per normal rules.
