Program Description School of Pharmaceutical Sciences which was established in 2019 under Sanjay Ghodawat University offers a two years program of Diploma in Pharmacy. The D. Pharm. course is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi. D. Pharm. course has been started with the aim of to develop a superior academic institute in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and create the value based skillful pharmacist to serve the society. The purpose of the institute to rope students for higher education by offering a platform for their academic, technological and social growth to withstand the challenges of pharmaceutical field. The institute wants the students should competent with the global challenges entering the pharmaceutical profession including Retail store, Business, Pharmaceutical industry, Hospital Pharmacist, Railway Pharmacist, Army Pharmacist, pharmacist abroad country. The required eligibility criteria to take admission to the D. Pharm. course is that a candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry & Maths/ Biology.
Admission & entry requirements Passed 10+2 / HSC Examination in Science of any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry As Compulsory subject along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology in the above subjects taken together should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. OR Non zero score in CET conducted by the Sanjay Ghodawat University, Kolhapur, Any Other Qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above Examination.
