Students at Swarrnim Science College study a variety of microorganisms to understand their structure and how they live, grow, and interact with each other and their environments. The course curriculum of B.Sc. Microbiology stresses upon the sciences of chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics essential to the study of microbiology, and has sufficient flexibility to allow preparation for graduate study or employment in microbiological and allied fields. The course allows students to unlock their potential by working with renowned faculty and industry experts while contributing to groundbreaking research, all while studying topics with great social significance. The course also provides students with a comprehensive background in the various fields of modern microbiology including microbial genetics, clinical microbiology, applied microbiology, immunology, molecular biology, and microbial physiology.
