The Master of Physical Education and Sports (M.P.E.S.) two years (Four Semesters, Choice Based Credit System) programme is a professional programme meant for preparing Physical Education and Sports Professional as per UGC norms and Standard and Specifications of Degree. Main objective of the Master of Physical Education and Sports (Sports Science Stream) to prepare as Assistant Professor/ Sports Directors/Sports Officers in Colleges/Universities and SportsEducators in College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The M.P.E.S. is designed to integrate the study of athletes right from his childhood for holistic development through Physical Education and Sports. Main objectives of this program are to empower sports professionals to strengthen sports ecosystem of the country.
The Master of Physical Education and Sports (M.P.E.S.) has designed to develop skilled workforce with Professional Skill, Vocational Competence and Core Subject Knowledge, Pedagogical knowledge, Physical Literacy and Active Learning and Perfect Communication Skills. The programme comprises of compulsory and optional theory as well as practical courses and compulsory internship at community sports centers/ Schools /College/Sports Organizations/Sports Academy/Sports Club and in Sports Industry.

| Admission & entry requirements |
I. Admission:
A candidate seeking admission to M.P.E.S. programme must fulfill the following conditions. (A) He/She must be B.P.Ed., B.P.E.S. or B.A. /B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in physical education or equivalency with BPES.
(B) He /She must have obtained at least 50% marks in B.P.Ed., B.P.E.S. Or B.A. / B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Physical Education.
(C) Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test (written test, fitness test, sports proficiency test, & marks obtained in the qualifying examination) or any other selection process as per the policy of university that will be mentioned in the prospectus.
