| Program Description |
The various dimensions of architecture and urban planning provide a partial effort towards understanding of relation between urban form and its structure in the context of socio-economic and cultural backdrop. Urban design fulfils gaps between architecture and urban planning. It helps in the integration of the overall morphological environment of a city. It sensitizes the students towards the various aspects of urban design through knowledge and skills imparted for the understanding of urban environment at different scales in contemporary as well as historic cities. This prepares them to handle urban design projects independently and as a team.

| Admission & entry requirements |
a) Bachelor of Architecture Degree recognized by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate. b) Any other examination recognized equivalent thereto.
