Program Description
Admission & entry requirements LLB Eligibility Bachelor's degree in any faculty. Duration 3 yrs with exam each year. Subjects Part I Compulsory Legal Theory, Constitution of India; Principles of Contract and Law of Torts; Indian Penal Code; Optionals any Two: Public International Law, Comml Law, Law of Bankruptcy, Private International Law of corporation & Pub, Control of Bus, International Orgn. Part II Compulsory Hindu Law, Mohammedan Law, Indian Divorce Act and Indian Succession Act (Intestate succession only); Transfer of property Act; Indian Succession Act (Testamentary succession only) and Indian Registration Act; Indian Legal History & Constitutional History of India. Optionals any two Tenancy Law, Administrative Law; Labour Laws Part III Compulsory Civil Procedure Code; Law of Arbitration and Law of limitation; Criminal Procedure Code; Indian Evidence Act; Rule of Courts & Practical Training in Courts and Drafting of Pleading and conveyancing.
