Program Description The expected learning outputs and competencies of students of B.Sc. (CSDA) programme at GNDU Amritsar are as follows: 1. To groom young professionals for present information age through sound conceptual knowledge and by fostering inter-disciplinary approach. 2. To enable handling of complex and large databases with computational, statistical and analytical skills and apply them for solutions to real life problems. 3. To inculcate and nurture an aptitude for statistical analyses and strengthening the skill sets of the young learners for effective decision making 4. To provide an enabling environment for hands on experience and practical exposure to seemingly complex computations through rigorous on and off job training programs. 5. Admission & entry requirements a) Senior Secondary Examination (12th grade) with Medical with Mathematics/ Non-Medical/ Commerce/ Humanities with Mathematics with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate. b) Any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by GND University, Amritsar.
