BFA Eligibility: Foundation Course (2 years duration) S.S.L.C. conducted by Karnataka Secondary Examination Board, Bangalore or recognized as equivalent thereto B.F.A. 1st Year a) Drawing & Painting - Two year foundation course or two years preparatory course conducted by School of Arts, Davanagere (Technical Education Department) or body recognized as equivalent to the that examination or passed the DMC 2nd year course. b) Specialization Course of the Art History/ Graphic Art/Sculpture/ Applied Art must have passed 2nd year B.F.A. Foundation examination of the college of Fine arts are two years preparative course conducted of School of Arts, Davanagere (Technical Education Department) or two years DMC course conducted by the KSEE Board or 2nd year PUC of JODC or a body recognized as equivalent to that examination. c) candidate who has passed a degree course (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) or candidates with AM and GD Art with 5 year experience is eligible to join the 3rd BFA Specialization (Art History only). Duration: 3 years/5 years.
