Program Description Bachelor of Architecture is a COA (Council of Architecture) approved five-year undergraduate degree programme designed to provide students with knowledge essential for designing built environments of various scales and types. It not only prepares students to enter the creative world but also equips them with the necessary technical knowledge and skills to bring their creative solutions to life. The programme is proposed to give a broad knowledge of the functional as well as aesthetical aspects of architectural design and its correlation with site & environment. The programme ensures that students are being educated keeping pace with the requirements of the profession. The knowledge of the construction industry, the modern tools and techniques of design & analysis through classroom training and practical experience in the form of site visits, case studies, study tours, internships, and interaction with experts from the industry give great opportunities to the students to enhance their skills and help them to be Industry ready Architects.
Admission & entry requirements No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50 per cent. aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50 per cent. marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50 per cent. marks in aggregate.
