7. Short inf of program (if possible): The School Management Diploma program is a program that provides information on school management. Through this curriculum, the headmaster learns about school financial management, pedagogical management, new perspectives on educational management, student service, welfare and quality development, school office management, school design and physical facilities, management of human relations in school management. Therefore, the new headmaster can handle the school management effectively and improve the quality of the school. This Program is run by Marathi Language; all Study Material is Available in Marathi Language.

The School Management Diploma program was developed by Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University recognizing the need for school management in schools in Maharashtra. Since 1994, the university has started this program for headmasters and deputy headmasters who manage schools in Maharashtra. Recognizing the need and importance of this program from the academic year 2004-2005, The Government of Maharashtra has made it mandatory for the persons working in the post of Headmaster / Deputy Headmaster to complete this course.
