Program Description	The principal focus area of the Department is to train the students in generating knowledge in automated and digital library system and to equip them with knowledge to handle with modern library and information tools. All the courses have been designed according to UGC CBCS (Credit based Choice System) model and have a lot of potential in research fields. This will essentially help a research aspirant to build his/her research career.
