The BA Sanskrit programme is designed to develop a first-level yet comprehensive understanding of the Sanskrit language, the grammatical aspects pertaining to the language and the important philosophical schools of thought in India. The
programme is designed to give a detailed introduction to various disciplines of Sanskrit and places special emphasis on the three streams:
Sāhityam
Vyākaraṇam
Darśanam

Must have cleared the Higher Secondary Examination (Class XII) with a minimum of 60% or an equivalent grade.

Must have completed uttaramadhyamā in Sanskrit/Prākśāstri or an equivalent
