| Program Description |

an extensive range of social services and social welfare activities. An innovative blend of theory, fieldwork and research
is designed to provide the students with a variety of skills to enable them to be active social workers, to set up and manage
social work organizations of their own or to find employment with various national and international agencies in the field.

| Admission & entry requirements |
1. Graduation in any stream with 50% of the aggregate. Those who have a background in Social Work / Psychology / Education
/ Sociology / Home Science / Human Resource Management will have an advantage.
2. Provisional Admission: Applicants who have not yet obtained their Bachelor’s Degree also may apply for admission. Such
candidates would be offered provisional admission until they furnish evidence of fulfilling the eligibility criterion stated in
(1) above within 3 months of the commencement of the programme.
