Program Description	We all know that Sanskrit is regarded as the mother language of all Indian languages. Sanskrit literature is the treasure-house of moral knowledge. KKHSOU offers Sanskrit as pass and major course. The syllabus of the courses has been so developed that a learner can get moral knowledge for day to day life and get acquainted with the great history of our classical literature. This programme will help the learners to write and read basic Sanskrit language in a simple and easy way. Moreover, this programme will be very useful for the learners of Assamese literature also. The programme is so designed as to ensure that a learner can develop knowledge in the field of Sanskrit language and literature. Admission & entry requirements	Eligibility Criteria: a. 10+2 or equivalent examination passed (in any stream, including Vocational Stream) from a Council/University recognized by UGC. b. Three-year Diploma passed from Polytechnics in any branch. c. Relevant BPP completed from KKHSOU. Documents required: Copies of marksheets and pass certificate of qualifying examination (10+2/P.U./Diploma/ BPP).
