| Program Description |
Sociology is a science that studies social reality in a holistic manner. It explores and analyses the linkages between personal lives and the larger social forces of life.
It studies the process of interrelationship among the various aspects of social life and social change. It is the study of action, social behaviour, structure, belief, relations
and issues of power etc. at the local, cross- cultural and global context. It is a crossroad for other disciplines in the social sciences. The programme will develop in the learners the necessary confidence in sociological skills and imagination to pursue acquisition of vocational skills to prepare them for varied employment opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria:
a. 10+2 or equivalent examination passed (in any stream, including Vocational Stream) from a Council/University recognized by UGC.
b. Three-year Diploma passed from Polytechnics in any branch.
c. Relevant BPP completed from KKHSOU.
Documents required:
Copies of marksheets and pass certificate of qualifying examination (10+2/P.U./Diploma/
BPP).
