The JSES B.A. (Hons.) in Environmental Studies opens the pathway for working in the international and national arenas in this complex, challenging and exciting discipline which is set to become more and more sought after with the time. A large number of businesses, government bodies and organisations in India and across the world are seeking ways to be more sustainable, energy efficient and climate-appropriate, and require experts in this area.
This is a multi-disciplinary, contemporary degree through which you will gain knowledge of a number of key areas that play a role in sustainable development and the sustainable management of natural resources. With courses in environmental science, policy, law and the social sciences. Students get a broad education and learn how to understand and connect perspectives from these key disciplines.
They are, thus, equipped with the skills needed to be able to address the challenges of sustainable development, whether in the policy, law, science or conservation fields.

| Admission & entry requirements |
10+2 examination or equivalent (CBSE, State Boards, IB, Cambridge and other Government‑recognized school leaving exams).
Applicants are selected through a holistic admission process conducted over three rounds based on a personal statement, supplemental application, X and XII grade marks, faculty interview, and 50% in JSAT or equivalent (SAT / ACT).
