Program Description The three-year fully residential BBA (Hons.) – Financial Markets degree program at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) is designed to give theoretical and practical knowledge related to various financial markets and institutions including equity market, debt market, fixed income market, derivatives markets, money market etc. Graduates of the BBA (Hons.) – Financial Markets programme will be able to understand the different product and services offered by financial markets and institutions. They will have understanding of various financial data sources and will be equipped with various tools and techniques to analyse financial data and draw meaningful inferences. Our students of BBA (Hons.) – Financial Markets will also be able to understand and participate in policy debates related to innovation in products and services offered by these markets and institutions. Aspirants of this program should have good analytical and quantitative skills and must have keen interest in learning about the dynamic and evolving financial markets and related institutions. BBA (Hons.) – Financial Markets is a unique program designed for the students who wants to specialise in Finance. Indian have witnessed an immense growth in the capital markets in last three decades. However, proper financial literacy is limited to few people who have made a superb growth in their careers based on their financial competencies. The current financial world is changing at a faster pace due to advent of blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies etc. This intersection of finance and technology is going to provide millions of jobs in the coming years along with the already existing pool of jobs such as Banking, Stock research, Investment Banking and others.
Admission & entry requirements 10+2 examination or equivalent (CBSE, State Boards, IB, Cambridge and other Government‑recognized school leaving exams). Maths in Class 12th is preferred. Applicants are selected through a holistic admission process conducted over three rounds based on a supplementary questions, X and XII grade marks, faculty interview, and entrance exam score (JSAT/SAT /ACT /UGAT).
