Program Description Environmental law is now an integral part of any project, initiatives and services, taken up by businesses, NGOs and governments across the world. It helps create regulatory structures for environmental management and helps manage, supress, control, and limit detrimental environmental impacts. The LL.M. programme covers subjects like Environmental Law, Energy and Climate Change and will benefit law graduates who would like to develop specialised legal knowledge to tackle global challenges such as climate change and energy access. The energy component will include legal and technical aspects of the entire gamut, from the mining of raw materials to generation (in case of electricity), transmission and distribution. Legal professionals working in the area of environment will benefit from a specialised Masters Programme in Environmental Law in terms of enhancing their knowledge in the field and building their existing careers.
Admission & entry requirements Bachelor's degree in Law from any University in India or abroad that is duly recognised under the law and by the regulatory authorities. Admission will be based on the performance of entrance examinations of LSAT– India, DU LL.M. or CLAT PG which holds 70% weightage. Statement of purpose and curriculum vitae will have 30% weightage.*
