| Program Description |
• The Department has opted Credit System from the academic year 2008-09. The syllabus of M.Sc. Course is based on UGC-NET syllabus and includes professional skills in Science and Technology.
• The examination pattern followed is 80:20 pattern with separate passing heads.
• The Department caters to various learning resources including study excursion, industrial visits, Inplant industrial training, one year need based field project, demonstrations on new techniques, seminars and guest lectures.
• Field Visits: Short industrial and nature visits of Environmental importance.
• Inplant Industrial Training: One month in plant industrial training is compulsory.
• Project: The students are assigned a one year duration project based on environmental problem in the second year.
• Study Tour: A study tour of 10 days duration to industry, academic institutions and places of environmental importance is compulsory. A report of the study tour is to be submitted.
