Program Outcomes
1. Gain insight into the socio-economic structure of rural India.
2. Develop skills necessary to make social and community diagnosis, write a project
proposal, generate resources, develop tools to monitor and evaluate projects
3. Independently identify, analyze and assess complex phenomena and issues in the fields of
rural development and livelihood by applying their knowledge, perspective and problemsolving abilities.
4. Capable for addressing complex environmental issues from a problem-oriented,
interdisciplinary perspective and also able to assess environmental and social impact.
5. Formulate and execution of NGO’s and institutions.
6. Develop different tools and techniques of accounting, budgeting, agro-marketing and
agro-tourism for agricultural and rural development.
7. Combine various theories and concepts for designing, monitoring and evaluation rural
development strategies and policies.
Program Specific Outcomes
1. Apply different scientific tools and techniques of statistics and computer for research.
2. Develop, Analyze and evaluate village development plan for sustainable rural
development.
3. Ability to design and manage rural enterprises using different tools, techniques and
models for strategic business development.
4. Ability to identify appropriate technology and optimal use of technology with analyzing
its effectiveness in business.
5. Develop professional entrepreneurs in co-operative sector, agriculture and allied sector.
