Program Description	To provide advanced sociological knowledge, perspectives and skills to a wide cross section of learners, including those in remote and inaccessible area of the state. After studying sociology in the under graduate level the learner can: • have comprehensive knowledge about interrelationship between individual and the society and interaction between individuals in the social context. • learn about the classical contributions in sociology and basic composition of Indian society and the three basic institutions of family, marriage and kinship.
