Program Description M. Sc. is thought for minimum of four semesters ( two years) and doctoral for minimum of six semesters (Three years). In a year, courses are thought in two semesters. Research work and seminars are being scheduled after the completion of first year.
Admission & entry requirements The admission notifications for PG degree programmes are notified in important newspapers and also on the university website (www.uahs.edu.in). The notification also contains courses offered at different campuses at PG level and minimum qualifications prescribed for seeking admission. As per direction of co-ordination committee, all Farm Universities adopted All India Entrance Examination for Admission to Masters Degree Programme/ Doctoral- AIEEA conducted by National Testing Agency. The score/ranking of the entrance examination is considered for the admission by considering 50 per cent weightage to the Score and 50 per cent weightage to academic performance of B.Sc. for M.Sc. degree programme and M.Sc. for Ph.D. degree programme in various subjects from the academic year 2022-23. Merit list will be prepared based on the following criteria: Weightage for performance in qualifying degree : 50 per cent Weightage for performance in NTA Examination : 50 per cent -------------------Total : 100 per cent Note: (1) If the marks scored among candidates are the same, then the candidate securing more marks in the NTA examination or Entrance test is to be put in the higher rank. (2) In a case where the marks mentioned above are also equal, then the candidate senior in age is to be put in the higher rank. (3) Candidates should upload all the required documents before the stipulated last date for online submission and should produce all the originals at the time of registration of course. (4) The provisionally selected candidates for Masters and Ph.D. degree programme shall pay the prescribed fee on or before the last date specified and confirm the admission. Payment shall be made through online to an account in the favor of Comptroller to the university from which the admissions (nodal/central) are made. (5) The provisionally selected candidates should register the courses at their respective colleges/Universities on or before the commencement of 1st semester. In-Service candidates seeking admission for the subjects of choice have to necessarily undergo All India Entrance Examination for Admission to Masters Degree Programme/ Doctoral- AIEEA conducted by National Testing Agency exam with appropriate stream / subject or else Farm University entrance exam as per their choices.
