Program Description	This is a research oriented program in which students can take advanced courses related to their area of specialization in the first year and devote the second year entirely towards their research thesis. The program might take longer time than the two years tenure for the completion of the thesis.
Admission & entry requirements	Admission - Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE) Entry Requirement - Applicants need to appear for a computer-based examination conducted by IIITH. The exam will be held in multiple centres across many cities. For MS programme candidates will be shortlisted for subject interview based on a written General Aptitude Test. The decision on final offer of admission is solely based on the interview performance.
