Program Description The rapid and continuous growth in global population has deepened the crisis of insufficient health care workers. With an increasing number of nurses migrating abroad, India is facing an acute shortage of faculty and clinical practitioners. This necessitates the stepping up of educational institutions to meet the growing demand for healthcare providers. Keeping in view the World Health Organization’s (WHO) theme of ‘Working Together for Health’, Chitkara University introduced its Nursing programs to train and develop quality nursing staff to facilitate healthcare services at the grassroots as well as global level. The training methodology at Chitkara University College of Nursing, through its carefully designed curriculum, ensures students develop a solid knowledge base along with adequate practical skills and hands-on experience. Students are trained in our state-of-the-art laboratory, in simulated conditions, before they are exposed to the working at an actual hospital setting.
