| Program Description |
The aims of the undergraduate nursing program are to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. The degree in nursing of four years course shall be designated as Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing in short Basic B.Sc. (Nursing). The maximum period to complete the course successfully should not exceed 8 years from the date of admission.

| Admission & entry requirements |
The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of HSSC (10+2) from a recognized board or University with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE).
