Program Description	A candidate who has passed MD/MS/PG Diploma with atleast 55% marks or equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale (or equivalent grade/CGPA in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) provided that the candidate with M.Sc. (Medical) must have passed the same with atleast 60% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by a authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of education institutions.
Admission & entry requirements	Admission to the Ph.Dprogram me will be made on the basis of merit of the Entrance Test to be conducted by the University followed by interview in the college/ university. The Entrance Test shall have to be qualified by obtaining at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/ Physical handicapped) qualifying marks.
