10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks, 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health Care Science - Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE /CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks. 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent Board with 40% marks. Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council. Student shall be medically fit. Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health Care Science - Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks. Student shall be admitted once in a year.

ADMISSIONS TO B.Sc. NURSING AND GNM COURSES WILL BE MADE BY MMU DIRECTLY ON THE BASIS OF A ENTERANCE TEST TO HELD BY THIS UNIVERSITY ON THE DATE WHICH WILL BE INFORMED TO THE STUDENTS.
CANDIDATES INTERESTED IN SEEKING ADMISSIONS TO NURSING COURSES, WHO HAVE PASSED SENIOR SECONDARY (10+2) FROM RECOGNIZED BOARD/UNIVERSITY MEETING THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR MERIT/SUBJECTS ETC. AS PER THE GUIDELINES OF THE NURSING COUNCIL OF INDIA ARE ADVISED TO FILL UP THE ATTACHED APPLICATION CUM REGISTRATION FORM AVAILABLE AT THE END OF THIS PROSPECTUS AND ALSO ON THE WEBSITE OF THE UNIVERSITY: www.mmusolan.org.
1. The above Courses are approved by the INC, State Government of Himachal Pradesh/Regulatory Bodies.
2. Seats distribution in the ratio of 25 : 75 for State Quota and Management Quota is as per provisions of MM University (Establishment &Regulation) Act, 2010.
3. 15% of total seats are reserved for NRIs as per decision of Hon‟ble Supreme Court of India.
4. Reservation in State Quota seats of these courses will be as per State Government rules.
