Program Description	The full-time two years academic programme intends to provide appropriate knowledge exclusively in different aspects of animal sciences spanning from morphology, anatomy, diversity, physiology, metabolism, ecology, animal biotechnology, animal behaviour and molecular developmental zoology. The programme is also designed to impart practical knowledge on these aspects. The highly skilled and motivating faculty members through rigorous academic exercises will train and expose the students to the frontiers of knowledge in animal sciences. Laboratory Facilities: A well-equipped M.Sc. practical laboratory with Digital Weighing Balance, Laminar Air-flow, Compound Microscope with LED Illumination, Bacteriological Incubator, Bactec 9050, Water Bath, Distillation Unit, Autoclave, Digital pH Meter, Hot Air Oven, PCR, Deep freezer, Gel Electrophoresis Unit, Vortex Machine, Hot Plate, Centrifuge, UV- Transilluminator and other necessary facilities. A Library exists that holds text and reference books relevant to the course curriculum.
Admission & entry requirements	A student shall be eligible to apply for admission to MSc/Zoology if he/she has completed a 3 years bachelor's degree will Zoology as Honours or Pass subject from a recognized institution/university. Students appearing in final qualifying examination may also apply. They are required to submit their qualifying degree certificate at the time of final admission.
