| Program Description |
M.Sc. (Food Science and Technology) course is an interdisciplinary subject which has both theory and practical components. It is an advanced study of technology and the processing methods used to develop, research, manufacture, produce, preserve, and process food. Students also perform quality management, research and development of Dairy Products, Food Grains, Confectionery Products and Fruit & Vegetable products and apply Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Biotechnology, Nutrition and Microbiology. Practical components expose students to different food industries and perform experiments in the laboratory. This enables students to gain practical knowledge and insights.
